At Lam Son Park, the Organizing Committee displayed 100 photos with the theme “Vietnam Revolutionary Press - A century of accompanying the nation”. The exhibition recreates the formation and development process of Vietnam Revolutionary Press founded and led by President Ho Chi Minh and the Communist Party of Vietnam .
100 years ago, on June 21, 1925, Thanh Nien Newspaper, founded by leader Nguyen Ai Quoc, published its first issue, marking the birth of the Vietnamese Revolutionary Press. Since that historical milestone, the Vietnamese Revolutionary Press has had a century of glorious fighting, always accompanying the country and the people, worthy of being the core force, pioneering on the ideological and cultural front, contributing significantly to the enlightenment, gathering the masses, arousing patriotism, the will to fight for national liberation, building, protecting and developing the country.
During the war years, hundreds of journalists put down their pens, took up arms, and directly fought in all parts of the country. They created vibrant journalistic works, uniting millions of people, working towards the same goal of liberating the country, maintaining national independence, many works became a call to arms urging the people to rise up and save the country. Many journalists heroically sacrificed their lives, remaining forever on the battlefield, their names have gone down in the glorious history of the Vietnamese Revolutionary Press.
After the country's reunification and nearly 40 years of renovation, the Vietnamese Revolutionary Press has entered a new period, both doing well the task of propagating the renovation policy and performing the function of social criticism and supervision, discovering and encouraging new factors. With the spirit of "innovation, creativity, professionalism and humanity", press agencies and journalists have made constant efforts, working day and night to bring truthful, objective and multi-dimensional information, vividly reflecting all aspects of social life. The press continues to be a bridge between the Party, the State and the people, a reliable forum to listen to the thoughts and aspirations of the people.

On Dong Khoi Street (in front of the Department of Culture - Sports and opposite Chi Lang Park), the Organizing Committee also displayed more than 130 images with the theme "Proud of 100 years of Vietnamese Revolutionary Press" and "Ho Chi Minh City Press - 50 years accompanying the city in building and developing" demonstrating the mission of accompanying communication, conveying the spirit of aspiration of the Party Committee, government and people of the city to build and develop the country together.
The exhibition also highlighted the attention and close direction of the city's leaders to create favorable conditions for the press to operate effectively. Many high-ranking leaders of the Central Government, departments, branches and the city promptly encouraged, rewarded and participated in press activities, which was an important motivation, deeply recognizing the silent but meaningful efforts of the city's press team.
