Phan Rang - Thap Cham City: Promoting learning and following Uncle Ho

After 10 years of implementing Directive No. 05-CT/TW dated May 15, 2016 of the Politburo on promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle (Directive 05), the Party Committee of Phan Rang - Thap Cham City has achieved many important results, creating positive changes from awareness to action of cadres, party members and the masses in improving political capacity, training morality and lifestyle, striving, making efforts, uniting to fulfill assigned duties and tasks, building a clean and strong Party, contributing to the socio-economic development of the locality.

In order to implement Directive 05 in an orderly and effective manner, the Phan Rang-Thap Cham City Party Committee always closely follows the directive documents of the Central Committee and the Provincial Party Committee, on that basis, develops action plans and programs for each stage and each year, clearly identifies the goals and tasks that need to be focused on, leads and directs Party committees at all levels to organize study, disseminate, propagate, and incorporate the content of studying and following Uncle Ho into the monthly and quarterly activities of Party cells, agencies, and activities on Law Day; organizes and guides cadres, Party members, civil servants, and public employees to register, commit, develop plans to study and follow, and self-review the implementation of registered contents in the spirit of self-criticism and criticism. At the same time, leads the development and replication of good models, good practices, good people, and good deeds. During the implementation process, focus on inspection and supervision, especially on the cultivation and training of ethics, lifestyle, and exemplary spirit of leaders, cadres, and party members.

During the 2021-2025 period, the City Party Committee has led and directed Party committees at all levels to promote propaganda and widely and effectively implement Conclusion No. 01-KL/TW dated May 18, 2021 of the Politburo on continuing to implement Directive 05, the contents of the full-term Special Topic of the 13th Party Congress term "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle on the will to be self-reliant and the aspiration to develop a prosperous and happy country", and annual special topics under the guidance of the Central Propaganda Department (now the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department). In order to create a clear change in implementing Conclusion No. 01-KL/TW, based on the assessment of the practical situation, development goals and tasks of the locality, the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee has identified a number of breakthrough contents to focus on leading and directing Party committees and authorities at all levels to implement. The content of learning and following is closely linked to the implementation of political tasks, campaigns, patriotic emulation movements, effectively solving pressing social issues that people are concerned about, such as: Enhancing the role and position of the Party organization, the responsibility of Party members in Party activities so that the Party organization is truly the political nucleus, directly leading, managing,educating , training, and fostering cadres and Party members; preventing and repelling the degradation of political ideology, ethics, lifestyle, "self-evolution", "self-transformation" within the Party; promoting the practice of thrift, fighting corruption and waste; rectifying and strengthening discipline and order; innovating working methods and styles, creating strong and positive changes in the performance of public duties of leaders, cadres, civil servants, and public employees of State agencies; Strengthen dialogue between leaders of Party committees and authorities with the people in resolving outstanding and urgent issues in the fields of land, site clearance, etc.

It is worth noting that Party committees at all levels, each cadre and Party member are increasingly aware of the meaning, importance and self-awareness in studying, especially paying attention to following the ideology, morality and style of President Ho Chi Minh through specific and practical actions, thereby increasingly perfecting themselves, promoting internal solidarity, discipline, order, building an increasingly clean and strong Party organization, improving the effectiveness of leadership, direction and administration to carry out political tasks and complete the tasks of agencies, units and localities. Up to now, the city has achieved and exceeded many targets set by the Resolution of the City Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term. The quality of urban standards has been improved. The material and spiritual life of the people has been increasingly improved.

In addition, there are more and more typical examples and models of learning and following Uncle Ho's example of compassion, support for the disadvantaged and the poor, solidarity, building a civilized urban lifestyle, competing in labor, production, study... contributing to the community, society, and building an increasingly developed city. Typically, people in Cong Thanh and Thanh Y villages (Thanh Hai commune) voluntarily donate land to build roads, contribute money, and workdays to join hands in building new rural areas; Mr. Ton That Huyen (Bao An ward) is good at production and business; Ms. Nguyen Bich Quan (Dong Hai ward) supports funding to build houses and provide medical care for the poor...
