Sa Dec City determined to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses before July 20, 2025

DTO - On the morning of March 26, the Steering Committee for Eliminating Temporary and Dilapidated Houses in Sa Dec City held a meeting to assess the progress of phase 1 and implement phase 2. Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Thien - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Sa Dec City Party Committee, Head of the Steering Committee chaired the meeting.

As of March 26, Sa Dec City has started construction of 21/28 houses according to the phase 1 plan from the state budget of 5% savings according to the allocation decision of the City People's Committee, expected to be completed in March. In addition, the locality has mobilized the construction and handover of 8 houses to poor and near-poor households.

In phase 2, the city has 55/56 households eligible for the temporary housing elimination program, expected to be completed in July 2025, welcoming the grassroots Party Congress.

Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Thien - Provincial Party Committee member, Secretary of Sa Dec City Party Committee chaired a meeting on the progress of the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses.

Sa Dec City Party Secretary Nguyen Phuoc Thien emphasized that this is an important political task, requiring units to review the right subjects, mobilize resources, ensure progress and quality of the project, and avoid waste and negativity. Phase 1 must be completed before April 20 and phase 2 before July 20, 2025.
