The project has a route length of 413m, width of 79m, starting point intersecting with Nguyen Dinh Chieu street, ending point intersecting with Tran Van Nam street with 199 households and individuals affected. The total affected land area is ^32,602m2 . Total investment is over 966 billion VND.

With this project, the city will pilot a compensation plan for land clearance and resettlement for people by allocating new land or residential land to households that are eligible for resettlement. In case of not being eligible for resettlement, direct payment will be made according to the approved plan.

At the conference, most of the cadres and party members agreed with the project implementation policy. Currently, with the expected investment level being quite high, in order to promote all resources in society, the Secretary of the City Party Committee called on affected households and individuals, especially party members, civil servants, public employees, and those participating in the political system at all levels affected by the project to join hands in supporting the project implementation policy.

He also requested the City People's Committee to receive comments and promptly add to the project information to make it public so that people can understand and agree with the policy; prepare the community consultation form carefully, minimizing errors. During the implementation process, the project implementation costs must be public and transparent, and there will be an independent audit unit so that people can feel secure and confident.

Hung Vuong Street Project Phase 2 (section from Nguyen Dinh Chieu Street to Tran Van Nam Street) is an important project in connecting traffic infrastructure and urban infrastructure between the center and neighboring areas of the city; connecting the city center to districts such as Tan Tru, Chau Thanh through the belt road via Provincial Road 827 and 833. This is also the driving force for areas to be able to enter the city center fastest and promote regional connectivity within the urban area to the suburbs.

The project also aims to upgrade and expand roads connecting residential areas and urban residential areas, complete the traffic infrastructure system; enhance urban aesthetics, serve travel needs; help synchronize the traffic network, prevent local flooding; and remove bottlenecks to ensure traffic safety./.
