In the first days of spring of Giap Thin 2024, many tourists from inside and outside the province, along with their families and friends, came to visit and experience the plum blossom gardens blooming with pure white color in Chieng Co commune, Son La city to take photos to save beautiful memories of the first days of spring.
Son La City has more than 2,200 hectares of plums, bringing a "double effect" of developing agriculture associated with tourism. The city encourages businesses, establishments, and households to build tourism models to experience plum picking and taking photos of plum blossoms to increase income.
The best time of day for visitors to experience and take photos in the plum garden is when the sunlight begins to spread across the hillsides. At this time, the plum blossoms after a night of “bathing” in dew will be fresher and more pristine.
Coming to Hom village, Chieng Co commune, located right on National Highway 6, the plum gardens planted by households are covered in white plum blossoms, attracting many tourists to visit and experience the first day of spring.
Warmly welcoming guests, Ms. Quàng Thị Oanh, owner of the plum garden in Hồm village, shared: This year, the weather is favorable, the plum blossoms bloom earlier and fade later than every year, so visitors can visit and take photos for quite a long time. In addition to local visitors, there are many groups of visitors from other provinces and cities. Many visitors come to visit and experience the plum garden, bringing additional income to their families. They are happier when the beautiful images of the village are spread by visitors, and the plum products of the city are known to more people.
Impressed by the beauty of plum blossoms, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Nga and her friends from Hanoi , shared: I have been to Son La city many times, but perhaps this is the trip that left the most impression, because it was the time when plum blossoms bloomed, the space and weather were as beautiful as a painting. We took the opportunity to keep beautiful photos, as souvenirs of the first day of spring.
Ms. Tran Thi Van, Hat Lot town, Mai Son district, happily said: Every year when plum blossom season comes, my friends and I go to Chieng Co commune, Son La city to enjoy spring; admire the flowers together, and capture beautiful photos of plum blossoms. This year, the group invested in elaborately modernized traditional ao dai costumes, hired makeup artists, photographers, and went online to research photo poses with plum blossoms, hoping to have the beautiful photo album we wanted.
Coming to Chieng Co and Chieng Den at this time, visitors can admire the white plum blossoms next to traditional stilt houses; meet and interact with the local people to feel the cultural identity of the Thai ethnic group, friendly and close here.
