Experience discovery

After a period of studying the cultural life of the Co Tu people in Tay Giang, a group of students carried out the project "The Allure of Tay Giang's Essence" to send out many messages. on the journey to discover and experience Tay Giang land, through its unique cultural and eco-tourism potentials.

According to Dinh Thi Thu Na - a member of the group, Tay Giang was initially just an unfamiliar name on the list of suggested locations. However, after a specific introduction to the western region of Quang Nam with its unique Co Tu cultural identity, the group members decided to choose Tay Giang to survey and come up with ideas for an experience, helping to change their perspective on life and nature at the foot of the Truong Son Dong mountain range.

"The first days of arriving in Tay Giang, the whole group felt like they were lost in another world : the sound of birds in the early morning, the babbling stream, the floating clouds embracing the hills... No phone signal, no noisy vehicles, just a slow pace of life and the breath of pristine nature. Everything was like an interesting walk to see the border" - Thu Na shared.

At the Loc Troi homestay (Tr'Hy commune), the group of students had the opportunity to meet the host named Bhling Mieng. His startup story made the whole group go from admiration to admiration.

Many years ago, after giving up his job in the commune, Bhling Mieng returned to his village, turning a desolate land in the middle of the mountains and forests into a unique tourist destination, serving the needs of visitors to stop, visit, explore and experience.

Combining the story of starting a business with preserving the Co Tu culture, over the years, Bhling Mieng has created a "common home", contributing to the livelihood of local people. And, on this journey to explore Tay Giang, Bhling Mieng accompanied as a tour guide.

With the "unbeatable" experience, the journey up the mountain inspired the group of students to create a project to promote Tay Giang, creating a connection value in the land known as "Heaven's Gate".

Contribute to promoting tourism

Nguyen Thi Phuong Y - Head of the student group implementing the project "The Allure of Tay Giang's Essence" said that on the journey to explore Tay Giang, the group was fortunate to receive support and sharing from the local community, especially in guiding survey locations, exploring the old forest, and learning about the cultural and spiritual life of the Co Tu people.

These authentic experiences help the group of students gain confidence and practical experience in their journey of ecotourism, as well as explore the cultural colors and unique customs of the local community.

"After the trip, the group had more interesting stories about Tay Giang land - a place that honors indigenous culture, connects people with nature and spreads beautiful actions of the community to tourists.

The image of peaceful mornings watching the clouds and mountains, enjoying the specialties of the Co Tu people and immersing themselves in the traditional village festival atmosphere, Tay Giang seems to hold every step of visitors every time they set foot here" - Phuong Y confided.
