Domestic pepper prices today are showing a slight adjustment trend, with the average purchase price fluctuating from 145,000 to 146,000 VND/kg. This trend shows the market's caution after the previous volatile period.
In Gia Lai, pepper price today reached 145,000 VND/kg, down 500 VND/kg compared to the previous session. Similarly, Dak Lak recorded a price of 146,000 VND/kg, also down 500 VND/kg, reflecting the slowing trend in the Central Highlands.
Pepper prices in Ba Ria - Vung Tau and Binh Phuoc are both at 145,000 VND/kg, but both decreased by 1,000 VND/kg. This shows clear pressure to adjust prices at large pepper warehouses.
Unlike other regions, Dak Nong maintains a stable pepper price at 146,000 VND/kg, demonstrating good resistance to market fluctuations.

ASTA black pepper prices in Malaysia were stable at USD 9,150/ton, while ASTA white pepper reached USD 11,850/ton, with no fluctuations, indicating that the local market was less affected by the general downward trend.
The price of 500g/l black pepper in Vietnam reached US$6,500/ton (down US$3.08), 550g/l black pepper was at US$6,600/ton (down US$3.03), and ASTA white pepper was US$9,500/ton (down US$2.11). This significant decrease shows great pressure from domestic and international markets.
