Ong Yen Roof, Tra Don Commune, Nam Tra My District, is located precariously on a high hill. There are 33 households living here, 100% of whom are Ca Dong people, whose lives are full of hardship and deprivation. There is no national grid electricity or concrete road leading to the village. And the Dien Ban Volunteers Association decided to choose this place to organize the April trip as a small gift to celebrate the association's birthday.
Each program initiated is a link connecting people with good hearts, joining hands for a better life. When seeing the sparkling eyes of the people when receiving gifts, the children playing happily, they seem to be happy with their own joy.
Two years ago, Ms. Tran Thi Lam - a volunteer girl in Dien Thang and some friends gathered together to establish an association to help the poor with the first activity being a Warm Kitchen for the homeless.
From this program, the “loving home” has grown steadily. Currently, the association has 20 members and 50 enthusiastic volunteers with many meaningful activities, bringing joy and smiles to many less fortunate lives.
Each person has a different situation and job, but they all share a compassionate heart, are always enthusiastic and responsible, and wholeheartedly share and help the less fortunate.
Ms. Tran Thi Lam shared that the Dien Ban Volunteer Association has helped thousands of cases over the past 2 years with an amount of up to hundreds of millions of VND.

Although it has only been operating for 2 years with members from all professions, from doctors, engineers, teachers, office workers, drivers, workers, farmers... they have become one, leaving their footprints everywhere from remote areas to the highlands of Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Kon Tum ...
Mr. Le Tat Thanh - Vice Chairman of Dien Ban Charity Lovers Association shared that the community programs that the group has implemented such as Warm Winter in the Highlands, Warm Kitchen for Children, Border Mid-Autumn Festival, Smiles in the Mist...
“It is impossible to list all the places the volunteer group has been to, nor to list all the difficult situations that the members have directly witnessed. Going, seeing, feeling and being deeply moved by the sadness has urged the young people in Dien Ban to take action, starting to implement a series of community-oriented programs to bring small joys to the poor…” - member Nguyen Thai Hoang Nam emotionally shared.
Looking back at the programs that the Dien Ban Volunteers Association has implemented, we can see that a compassionate heart exists in everyone, whether living in rural or urban areas. The thread connecting hearts still spreads love to the community every day.
