Previously, the biggest victory in the final of the most prestigious European Cup at the club level was when AC Milan defeated Barcelona 4-0 in the 1993-1994 Champions League season. This was the period when Barcelona "Dream Team" of the late legendary coach Johan Cruyff, but was completely defeated by AC Milan of coach Fabio Capello with reasonable and surprising tactics.

Previously, coach Enrique won the treble with Barcelona in the 2014-2015 season. Coach Pep Guardiola won the treble with Barcelona in the 2008-2009 season and with Man City in the 2022-2023 season.
Before PSG's sweet achievement, striker Mbappe, currently playing for Real Madrid, spoke up to congratulate . Mbappe wrote a message on social media: "The big day has finally arrived. Victory and style of the entire club. Congratulations , PSG".
Neymar (currently playing for Santos Club in Brazil) also congratulated with a simple message: " Congratulations PSG", and posted a photo of PSG players lifting the Champions League trophy. Meanwhile, Messi has not spoken about his old club.
