In this period, Cho Gao district has 8 products that the Advisory Team assisting the Council in evaluating and classifying products of the One Commune One Product Program submitted to the District-level Evaluation and Classification Council, including: Ginger jam of Phuc Hau business household, Binh Long hamlet, Thanh Binh commune; Crispy dried green-skinned grapefruit peel jam of Ba Muoi Buoi business household, Binh An hamlet, Song Binh commune; Hai Van sour shrimp paste of Cao Lam Hai business household, Long Thanh hamlet, Long Binh Dien commune; Golden dragon fruit, Thien Phuc dried grapefruit peel, Thien Phuc banana, Thien Phuc dried dragon fruit, Thien Phuc soursop tea of ​​Thien Phuc Cooperative, Binh Cach hamlet, Tan Binh Thanh commune.

At the meeting, the Council members organized the evaluation and classification of products in accordance with the process and the set of criteria for evaluating and classifying OCOP products stipulated in Decision No. 148 dated February 24, 2023 of the Prime Minister . As a result, all 8 products achieved 3-star OCOP products (in which Hai Van Sour Shrimp Paste of Cao Lam Hai business household, Long Thanh hamlet, Long Binh Dien commune was re-recognized).

Continuing to implement Resolution 11 dated December 13, 2021 of the District Party Executive Committee on leadership in collective economic development and the One Commune One Product Program for the period 2021 - 2025, the district maximizes the potential and advantages of local products; promotes the application of science and technology in production and processing; enhances the value and competitiveness of products. To date, the district has 51 OCOP products in 18 communes and towns in the district, of which 33 3-star products and 18 4-star products meet the requirements set forth in the Resolution.
