The results of the competency assessment exam are used for admission to member universities of VNU-HCM and many other universities that recognize the results of this exam.
Accordingly, the second round of the competency assessment exam organized by Ho Chi Minh City National University in Dong Nai has nearly 5,300 candidates registered to take the exam (nearly 2,800 candidates less than the first round). The candidates are mainly students from high schools in Dong Nai province, many of whom have taken the first round and continue to register for the second round with the hope of improving their exam results to increase their chances of being admitted to university.
Ho Chi Minh City National University coordinated with 3 universities to organize the second round, in which Lac Hong University (Bien Hoa city) had 2,232 candidates taking the exam, Dong Nai University of Technology (Bien Hoa city) had 1,600 candidates and Eastern University of Technology (Thong Nhat district) had 1,445 candidates.
The second round of the competency assessment exam was organized by Ho Chi Minh City National University in coordination with other units at universities in 11 provinces/cities, including: Hue, Binh Dinh, Khanh Hoa, Dak Lak, Lam Dong, Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong, Dong Nai, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Tien Giang and An Giang.
