The Provincial People's Committee has established a working group to implement the Long Thanh Concentrated Information Technology Park Project (referred to as the project). Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Duong Minh Dung is the Head of the Working Group, and Director of the Department of Science and Technology Ta Quang Truong is the Deputy Head of the Working Group.
According to the leaders of the Department of Science and Technology, the completion of the project is being accelerated by departments and branches. In particular, the approval of the budget estimate for the appraisal of the 1/2,000 scale planning of the project has been basically completed. One of the current difficulties is the completion of the environmental impact assessment report of the project.
In addition, the Department of Science and Technology also worked with the Vietnam Institute for Green Transformation and Digital Transformation Development to update and supplement content on developing high-performance computing centers and digital economic park models into the project.
Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Duong Minh Dung requested relevant departments, branches, localities and units to make efforts to hand over clean land for the project, as well as ensure procedures related to the construction and implementation of the project in accordance with regulations; strive to start the project before the National Day celebration on September 2, 2025, towards welcoming the 12th Dong Nai Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030...

The provincial leaders assigned the Department of Science and Technology to take the lead in monitoring the progress of the project implementation, promptly reporting and advising the Provincial People's Committee to handle related problems. The Department of Science and Technology shall preside over and coordinate with relevant departments and branches to promptly complete the 1/2,000 scale planning of the project; evaluate and determine the plan for selecting investors for the project; as well as review the process of establishing a concentrated information technology park to ensure compliance with regulations.
At the same time, the provincial leaders also assigned the Department of Agriculture and Environment to support the completion of the project's environmental impact assessment report before June 20; and assigned the Department of Industry and Trade to develop a plan to ensure power supply for the project.
