Saigon Jewelry Company Limited continues to set the price at 111 million VND/tael (buy) - 113.5 million VND/tael (sell).
Meanwhile, Phu Nhuan Jewelry Joint Stock Company set the price at 111.2 million VND/tael (buy) - 113.6 million VND/tael (sell), down 300,000 VND/tael for buying and 400,000 VND/tael for selling.
Yesterday, the price of SJC gold bars initially increased by VND200,000/tael, to VND116 million/tael (buy) - VND118 million/tael (sell), then reversed and decreased to VND114.9 million/tael (buy) - VND117.2 million/tael (sell), which is VND900,000/tael (buy) and VND600,000/tael (sell) lower than the end of the previous day.
On the international market, early this morning, the gold price was trading at 3,358 USD/ounce, down 30 USD/ounce compared to the same time the previous day.
Gold prices fell as investors took profits, the US stock market and the USD rose.
However, by nearly 9am, the price of precious metals recovered significantly, trading at 3,372 USD/ounce, converted to about 11 million VND/tael lower than the domestic gold price.
