For many years, Binh Trung Medical Station has implemented inpatient medical examination and treatment using health insurance cards, so people often come here for medical examination.
As a retired cadre, Mr. Vuong Van Dong (72 years old, Tu Son village, Thang Dien commune) often visits the commune health station for regular health check-ups. This time, seeing signs of illness, Mr. Dong went to the station, had his blood pressure measured by medical staff , and had his medical history checked on the most recent electronic health care system to diagnose the disease and dispense medicine covered by health insurance.
“I often visit this commune health station to check my health and get medicine. All procedures are very simple, the medical staff is enthusiastic and gentle, so we feel very secure,” Mr. Dong shared.

The heat of the past two days has made Mr. Ho Tan Sy (An Duong village, Thang Dien commune) tired, with cramped limbs. Mr. Sy was taken to Binh Trung Health Station by his nephew for examination. Through clinical examination, medical staff said that due to working continuously in hot weather, Mr. Sy's body was weakened, dehydrated, and his diet was not nutritious enough, leading to the above condition. Mr. Sy was given protein by the commune health staff to restore his health.
Mr. Sy said that although he is a resident of Binh An commune (old), because of the convenient location and the facilities here are quite good, spacious, and the medical staff is enthusiastic and attentive, he often goes to Binh Trung Medical Station for medical examination and treatment.

Thang Dien Commune was established on the basis of merging the old communes 3 including Binh Trung, Binh Tu and Binh An with a current population of 42,280 people. To better serve the needs of the new commune, Binh An, Binh Trung and Binh Tu health stations still operate continuously under the management of Thang Binh Regional Health Center.
For Binh Trung Medical Station, the number of people coming to the station for medical examination and treatment is currently increasing, averaging 25-30 people/day. Since the beginning of 2025, Binh Trung Medical Station has been renovated and upgraded the treatment area from the Program for economic and social recovery and development after the Covid-19 pandemic, thanks to which it has a new, more spacious appearance.
According to Mr. Nguyen Tan Dung - Deputy Head of Binh Trung Medical Station, the station is still operating normally with 5 medical staff. "We have assigned staff to provide emergency care, ensuring that all initial medical examination and treatment activities for people take place smoothly and normally" - Mr. Dung said.
Currently, Binh Trung Medical Station is implementing outpatient examination and treatment with health insurance in accordance with regulations; examining and treating chronic non-communicable diseases. The station also monitors and periodically dispenses medicine to subjects with health insurance, provides health consultation, disease prevention and manages outpatients. In addition, the station also performs vaccination, pregnancy check-ups, primary health care; operates a first aid station, emergency treatment, etc.
“Despite the administrative boundary merger, Binh Trung Medical Station still maintains stable operations and performs well the task of providing primary health care for the people. Thanks to that, local people continue to feel secure in coming for medical examination and treatment, and their operations are not disrupted or interrupted in the process of accessing medical services,” said Mr. Dung.
