On the morning of August 8, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development organized a training course to promote, disseminate, and raise awareness about digital technology development and digital transformation in agricultural production.

In recent times, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Ha Tinh has proactively disseminated the policies of the Central Government and the province on digital transformation to all cadres, civil servants, public employees, workers and production establishments in the agricultural sector. Initially, many models of applying digital technology have been applied to production, contributing to increasing the value and efficiency of production and business.

At the conference, more than 400 members were introduced by lecturers and presented with key contents of digital transformation in agriculture such as: current situation and orientation, policies, Digital Transformation Project of the Agriculture and Rural Development sector of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development; policies, orientations, tasks, key solutions on digital transformation in Ha Tinh province; specific digital transformation models, systems, solutions applied in agricultural production, building smart communes, smart villages in new rural construction.

The lecturer presented the topic of current situation and orientation, policies, and digital transformation project of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.

Trainees also actively participated in exchanging and discussing a number of contents related to the training content such as: concepts, regulations, benefits of granting codes for growing/farming areas for agricultural products; procedures for granting codes for growing/farming areas; e-commerce models and benefits of e-commerce in the trend of international economic integration; typical successful models in applying digital technology, digital transformation in agricultural production and business...

The training course provides the most practical information to contribute to promoting the digital transformation process in the agricultural and rural sectors associated with related criteria in new rural construction.
