Equipping Ha Tinh reporters with knowledge and skills in digital transformation

Digital transformation in general and digital transformation in the field of journalism in particular has helped press agencies develop more and more professionally, master modern media technology, produce quality works, contribute to innovating the Party's propaganda work and better meet the public's information needs.

However, the digital transformation of journalism is still facing many difficulties and challenges such as: awareness; resources for digital transformation; technology mastery; professional skills and the ability to apply technology of reporters and editors in the digital environment...

Deputy Director of Ha Tinh Department of Information and Communications Duong Kim Nga delivered the opening speech of the training program.

At the program, the team of reporters from press and media agencies in Ha Tinh province were informed by Mr. Nguyen Van Hao - Lecturer of the Institute of Journalism and Communication, Academy of Journalism and Propaganda about 2 topics: "Skills in applying information technology in building multimedia communication products" and "Experience in choosing topics and building works to participate in journalism awards".

The topics focused on pointing out the necessity and important role of providing knowledge and information on digital transformation of journalism; new issues that are of interest to domestic and foreign press; content creation process, organization of production of various types of journalism works, production of digital content for platforms, promoting strong changes in implementing the digital transformation strategy of journalism in the province.

At the same time, equip the team of leaders, reporters and editors at the provincial and district levels with specialized skills to improve the quality of journalistic works in both content and form of expression, creating attraction and appeal to the public.

At the training session, trainees also had the opportunity to discuss, exchange, and share experiences and effective methods in equipping knowledge and skills in creating press and media works applying information technology for reporters of press and media agencies in the digital transformation era in Ha Tinh province.
