Nemo and accomplices appear in court on June 16.

Three accomplices, including: Pham Quyen Quy, Nguyen Ngoc Khuong (both 23 years old), and Phan Hoang Nam (24 years old).

Previously, District 1 People's Court opened a trial for the defendants, however Trang Nemo was hospitalized and could not attend the trial, so the Chief Justice announced the decision to postpone the trial, to reopen at 1:30 p.m. on June 16.

Speaking to VTC News reporters before the trial, defendant Trang's defense attorney said that the defendant was discharged from the hospital a few days ago.

At the first instance trial on November 22, 2022, the People's Court of District 1 said that the trial had many new and complicated details that needed further consideration.

The panel of judges believed that it was necessary to clarify the act of causing injury and request criminal prosecution of the victim Pham Le Khanh, so the court decided to return the file and request additional investigation.

After the panel of judges announced the return of the case file for further investigation, Trang Nemo went to where the victim Pham Le Khanh was standing and knelt down to apologize, but the victim Khanh did not agree and said that it was too late to apologize now.

On April 11, the People's Procuracy of District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, completed the indictment, maintaining the prosecution of Trang Nemo and her accomplices for disturbing public order.

During the additional investigation, Trang Nemi's accomplice, defendant Nguyen Phuoc Tuan, passed away due to a stroke, so the Investigation Police Department suspended the investigation against this defendant.

According to the indictment, Trang is the owner of Trang Nemo store on Nguyen Trai street, Nguyen Cu Trinh ward, district 1. Due to a conflict in online sales business, Trang and Tran Nguyen Tra My made an appointment to resolve the matter at the store.

At around 2:45 p.m. on January 16, My, Pham Le Khanh, and Tran Thi Hoang Yen went to Trang Nemo store. Afterwards, My and Yen went into the store to apologize, while Khanh stood outside.

At around 3:00 p.m. the same day, while My was apologizing to Trang, Khanh entered the store and called My back, causing a conflict between Khanh and Trang.

When Trang used her hand to pull Khanh's mask, this person cursed at Trang. Hearing that, Trang's employee Quy and Trang rushed in, grabbed Khanh's hair, hit him in the head and back, and kicked him in the stomach. At this time, Yen tried to stop her but was also beaten by Khuong.

Seeing the fight, Trang Nemo store security guards Nam and Tuan ran in. Out of anger, Nam and Tuan jumped in to beat Khanh.

According to the forensic examination, Khanh suffered multiple soft tissue injuries, scattered swelling and bruising in various parts of his body, with a body damage rate of 3% due to injuries, while Yen had no recorded injuries.

At the police station, Trang, Quy, Khuong, Tuan and Nam admitted their actions.

On April 20, the Investigation Police Agency of District 1 Police issued a decision to prosecute the case and prosecute Trang, Quy, Khuong, Tuan and Nam for disturbing public order.
