Presenting 60 gifts to honor former Youth Volunteers in difficult circumstances

- Towards the 75th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Youth Volunteer Force (July 15, 1950 - July 15, 2025), on June 28, at Truc Lam Chinh Phap Zen Monastery (Tuyen Quang City), the Provincial Association of Former Youth Volunteers in coordination with the Phuc Duc Charity Group and Chu Van An Assistance Group (Hanoi City) organized a meeting, gratitude and gift giving program for 60 former Youth Volunteers in especially difficult circumstances in the province.

Attending the program were Venerable Thong Pho, Abbot of the Zen Monastery; Ms. Phan Kim Lien, representative of the volunteer group; leaders of the Provincial Association of Former Youth Volunteers; Provincial Youth Union, Provincial Association of Former Youth Volunteers and many former members of the Youth Volunteers Association of districts and cities.

Venerable Thong Pho, Abbot of Truc Lam Chinh Phap Tuyen Quang Zen Monastery, spoke at the ceremony.

Representatives of volunteer groups expressed their deep gratitude to generations of Youth Volunteers, who once "crossed Truong Son to save the country", dedicating their youth to the independence and freedom of the nation, and the happiness of the people.

At the program, 60 gifts were given to former Youth Volunteers from 7 districts and cities in the province, each gift worth 1 million VND along with necessities, travel expenses support... the total gifts were worth nearly 100 million VND.

Speaking at the ceremony, Venerable Thong Pho, Abbot of Truc Lam Chinh Phap Zen Monastery and leaders of the Provincial Youth Volunteers Association expressed their emotion when joining with benefactors to pay tribute to those who sacrificed their youth for national independence.

Venerable Thong Pho emphasized that this is not only an occasion to express deep gratitude to former Youth Volunteers but also an opportunity for today's generation to learn and continue the spirit of service and noble ideals that previous generations have left behind.
