Dak Lak Traffic Police strive for a safe exam season

To ensure traffic safety and order during the 2025 High School Graduation Ceremony, the province's functional departments have developed plans, deployed patrol and control plans, and organized traffic flow at exam sites, with the core being the traffic police force.

Accordingly, during the exam period, the Traffic Police force will maintain the maximum number of permanent personnel, mobilizing all means to ensure traffic safety at school gates and roads leading to exam sites. In particular, they will focus on performing tasks during peak hours before and after exams to divert, regulate and guide traffic. In addition, working groups will continuously patrol the roads around the exam sites, creating clear routes, preventing large crowds from gathering in front of exam sites, causing complications and insecurity for the exam.

In Buon Ma Thuot City - the locality with the most exam sites in the province (9 exam sites), the traffic safety work was coordinated by the Buon Ma Thuot City Area Team with the local police to organize traffic control, on-site traffic flow, and quickly handle points at risk of congestion, especially during morning rush hours and after each exam session.

Lieutenant Colonel Do Xuan Nam, Deputy Head of the Buon Ma Thuot City Area Team, said that for the 2025 High School Graduation Exam, Buon Ma Thuot City has about 6,000 candidates registered to take the exam at 9 exam locations. Therefore, the number of vehicles and people participating in traffic during the exam period increases during rush hours. To ensure the safety of candidates and their families traveling during this time, at each exam location, the Buon Ma Thuot City Area Team arranges a working group of 4 traffic police officers and soldiers to direct and guide traffic. The goal is to ensure smooth and safe traffic flow for both parents and candidates, helping them feel most comfortable before entering the exam room. In addition, the working groups are also ready to support candidates in unexpected situations such as vehicle breakdowns and traffic collisions.

At the Lak High School Examination Site (Lak District), from early morning on the first day of the exam, reporters recorded that traffic police officers from the Lak District Area Team worked with youth volunteers to guide relatives and candidates to travel safely. Major Nguyen Trong Truong, an officer of the Lak District Area Team, said that during the 2025 High School Graduation Exam, the Team proactively gathered information, predicted possible situations and developed appropriate handling plans. The Team also arranged 3 specialized motorbikes for mobile patrols and was ready to support candidates in case of emergency to bring them to the exam site safely, ensuring that no candidate would miss this important exam due to an incident.

From early morning of the first exam session, officers and soldiers of the Lak District Local Team were present at the Lak High School exam site to guide and regulate traffic.

Thanks to the drastic intervention of the Traffic Police, traffic conditions during the exam days were maintained, with no serious congestion or unfortunate accidents involving candidates recorded.
