Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hung, Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, said: This year, although the Trade Union organization has gone through a period of restructuring and streamlining its apparatus, many grassroots trade unions have had to dissolve or merge, the strength of trust and solidarity has not wavered. More than 1,100 entries from all regions have shown the strong influence of "Trade Union Arms".

Through 5 seasons of organization, “Union Arms” has not only stopped at a writing contest but has become a symbol of humanity of the Vietnam Trade Union. Each work is not simply an article but a journey that touches the heart; recreating real, touching slices of life, determination, and aspirations of union members, workers, and union officials across the country.
In the group of professional journalists, many works have left a deep impression, with a tight structure, professional writing style, rich in discovery and humanity. Notably, in addition to promoting the Trade Union organization in caring work, there is also the work "Trade Union imprint in creating worker security" which mentioned the very urgent issue today that Trade Union has stood up to represent and protect the rights of workers, contributing to ensuring security and safety for workers.
In particular, the work “Union Feet That Have Not Stopped” mentions the country’s major policy in recent times when the Trade Union organization has undergone organizational changes, many union officials are no longer able to continue doing the work they love, but deep in their hearts, their hearts are always turned towards the workers, the laborers, always thinking of themselves as union officials, ready to support, help, and advise when the laborers need it.

In the group of non-professional writers, many entries expressed sincere and close emotions, originating from the experiences of cadres, union members and workers. The characters with many colors of life were not only portrayed through the pens of professional and non-professional writers but also written by them with true emotions from their hearts. Such as the case of Mr. Vo Thanh Ky, former officer of the Center for Communication - Culture - Sports of Duc Pho town (Quang Ngai), who once fell into despair when facing the terrible cancer. But thanks to the sharing, encouragement and timely support of the Union organization and colleagues, he found the strength to overcome the most difficult period of his life.
In particular, extending the humanistic value of the Contest, author Luong Tuan Huy, Northern Electrical Experimental One Member Co., Ltd. sent the entry "Guiding Light" along with a touching handwritten letter, expressing his wish that if he won the prize, he would donate all the prize money to disabled children at Hy Vong School (Long Bien, Hanoi ), a beautiful gesture, lighting up the spirit of sharing and compassion that the Contest aims for.

In general, whether in the professional or non-professional field, the works have in common the affirmation of the profound humanistic value of the Trade Union organization, a place to connect, accompany, care for and inspire workers, so that each union member becomes more attached to and proud of their organization. The topics and content of the articles most mentioned are difficult living conditions, serious illnesses, accidents, the journey to find children, to find life for oneself... are loved and cared for by the Trade Union organization and union officials.
That care is done with a sense of responsibility, but above all with the warm feelings of people to people. The “union arms” in these articles can be the union officials who are devoted and devoted to union members and workers; it can be the image of the union organization at a specific unit, enterprise or agency.
“The large participation of readers, writers, and union officials at all levels is another success of the contest. That, on the one hand, speaks to the appeal, spread, and impact of the contest, and on the other hand, shows the practical, effective, and widespread care of the Trade Union organization,” said Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hung.
“From those positive results and impacts, we propose that the Magazine continue to advise and propose to the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor to organize the contest next year and the following years, in order to maintain and spread the communication and education effectiveness of this activity,” Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hung requested.
