Awarding the 40-year Party membership badge to National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue

The ceremony to award the 40-year Party membership badge to Politburo member, Secretary of the National Assembly Party Delegation, and National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue took place at the National Assembly House on the morning of March 11.

On the morning of March 11, at the National Assembly House, the ceremony to award the 40-year Party membership badge to Politburo member, Secretary of the National Assembly Party Delegation, and National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue took place.

General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong sent a flower basket to congratulate National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue.

Attending the event were Politburo member, Permanent member of the Secretariat, Head of the Central Organization Commission Truong Thi Mai; Politburo member, Deputy Secretary of the National Assembly Party Delegation, Permanent Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Thanh Man; Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Party Central Committee Office Le Minh Hung; Vice Chairmen of the National Assembly: Nguyen Khac Dinh, Nguyen Duc Hai, Senior Lieutenant General Tran Quang Phuong; leaders of relevant agencies, some provinces and cities.

On behalf of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Central Agencies Bloc, Central Party Committee member, Party Committee Secretary Nguyen Van The announced the decision to award the 40-year Party membership badge on February 3, 2024 to National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue.

Next, Politburo member, Permanent member of the Secretariat, Head of the Central Organization Commission Truong Thi Mai presented the 40-year Party membership badge and flowers to congratulate Mr. Vuong Dinh Hue.

On behalf of the Politburo and the Secretariat, Standing member of the Secretariat Truong Thi Mai congratulated Mr. Vuong Dinh Hue on receiving the 40-year Party membership badge. She emphasized that this was a joy and honor not only for Mr. Vuong Dinh Hue but also for the Party Central Committee, the Politburo, the National Assembly Party Delegation, relevant Party organizations, cadres and Party members where Mr. Vuong Dinh Hue has worked and is working, and Mr. Vuong Dinh Hue's family.

Ms. Truong Thi Mai said that Mr. Vuong Dinh Hue comes from a revolutionary family, has been working since 1979, is a Professor and Doctor of Economics.

On March 9, 1984, Mr. Vuong Dinh Hue was honored to be admitted to the Party while he was a lecturer at the Hanoi University of Finance and Accounting (now the Academy of Finance). During his work, he was assigned by the Party to hold many important positions of the Party and the State at the central and local levels such as: State Auditor General, Minister of Finance, Head of the Central Economic Commission, Deputy Prime Minister, Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee; Secretary of the Party Delegation, Chairman of the 14th and 15th National Assembly from March 2021 to present.

Mr. Vuong Dinh Hue is a member of the Party Central Committee, 10th, 11th, 12th, 13th terms; a member of the Politburo, 12th, 13th terms; and a National Assembly delegate, 13th, 14th, 15th terms.

During his career, he has made many contributions to the innovation and development of the Auditing and Finance sectors, and to the activities of the Central Economic Committee, the Government, and the Hanoi Party Committee.

As Secretary of the Party Delegation and Chairman of the National Assembly, Mr. Vuong Dinh Hue has focused on leading, directing, innovating, improving the quality and efficiency of the National Assembly's operations in performing its legislative, supervisory and decision-making functions on important national issues; promoting the improvement of development institutions to meet the Party's leadership requirements.

In particular, in recent terms and the term of the 15th National Assembly, Mr. Vuong Dinh Hue has made many important contributions in supplementing the theory and practice of implementing the principle that state power is unified, with the division of coordination and supervision among the three powers: legislative, executive, and judicial, and building a socialist rule-of-law state.

During his 40 years in the Party, regardless of the circumstances or position, Mr. Vuong Dinh Hue has always been absolutely loyal to the Party, the Fatherland and the people; steadfast in Marxism-Leninism, Ho Chi Minh thought, the goals of national independence and socialism.

Mr. Vuong Dinh Hue constantly studies, cultivates, trains, upholds the pioneering and exemplary spirit, together with the Central Executive Committee, Politburo, and Secretariat, constantly strives to contribute to the cause of innovation, construction, and protection of the Fatherland.

As a cadre who grew up from the grassroots and held many positions, he always had strategic thinking, worked closely with the grassroots, promoted a sense of responsibility, united to help comrades and teammates, and was close to the people.

In daily life, he was always simple, sincere, and affectionate, and was respected and loved by his comrades, colleagues, and people.

“The 40-year Party membership badge awarded to Mr. Vuong Dinh Hue today is the Party's recognition, affirmation and appreciation for his dedication and contributions to the Party's glorious revolutionary cause,” emphasized Standing member of the Secretariat Truong Thi Mai.

Speaking at the ceremony, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue respectfully thanked the Party Committee of the Central Agencies Bloc and the Party Committee of the National Assembly Office for solemnly organizing the ceremony to present the 40-year Party membership badge - a noble reward of the Party on the occasion of the whole country celebrating the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2024).

The National Assembly Chairman expressed his appreciation and sincere thanks for the sentiments, support and wholehearted help of the leaders, Party organizations, comrades, colleagues, the encouragement, motivation and help of all walks of life, directly from the agencies, units, places where he studied, worked and worked such as: Faculty of Accounting, Hanoi University of Finance and Accounting, State Audit, Ministry of Finance, Central Economic Committee, Government, Hanoi Party Committee, National Assembly, National Assembly Standing Committee and National Assembly Delegation of Hai Phong city.

On this occasion, the National Assembly Chairman expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the leadership, direction and guidance of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, leaders and former leaders of the Party, State and Vietnam Fatherland Front through the periods that have always been given to him personally throughout his working process.
