After nearly 1 month of construction, the house was completed and handed over in accordance with the model prescribed by the Ministry of Public Security , with a width of 4.5m and a length of 12m. The total cost of building the house was over 110 million VND. Of which, the Ministry of Public Security supported 60 million VND, the rest was mobilized by the Board of Directors of An Giang Provincial Police.

Colonel Phan Quang Diem, former Deputy Director of An Giang Provincial Police, member of the Vietnam People's Police Veterans Association, Chairman of the An Giang Provincial People's Police Veterans Association, said that recently, An Giang Provincial Police has actively and effectively implemented the work of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses for members of the People's Police Veterans Association. As soon as the Ministry of Public Security issued the policy, the unit mobilized officers and soldiers to participate in supporting working days and helping members in the process of building houses.
