Chau Thanh First Conference of the Commune Party Executive Committee

On the morning of October 8, the Chau Thanh Commune Party Committee (An Giang Province) held the first (expanded) meeting of the Commune Party Executive Committee to review the implementation of tasks in the third quarter and the direction program for the fourth quarter of 2025.

Chau Thanh Commune Party Secretary Lam Minh Cong awarded certificates of merit to collectives and individuals with good achievements in organizing and serving the 1st Chau Thanh Commune Party Congress.

The conference approved a report on the implementation of tasks in the third quarter, a direction program for the fourth quarter of 2025; a plan to implement the action program on international integration in the new situation; private economic development; breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation.

The conference also approved the supplementary project on socio-economic development in 2025; approved the decision to establish the Commune Steering Committee on science , technology development, innovation and digital transformation; and decided to establish a working group to assist the Commune Steering Committee on science, technology development, innovation and digital transformation.

Conference delegates contributed to support people to overcome natural disaster damage.

From now until the end of 2025, Chau Thanh Commune Party Secretary Lam Minh Cong proposed that the entire political system focus on leading the congresses of socio-political organizations for the 2025-2030 term; summarizing the 2021-2026 term of the Commune People's Council; well preparing conditions for the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term. Well implementing Party building work, especially inspection, supervision, self-criticism and criticism.

The People's Committee of the commune focuses on directing and effectively implementing socio-economic development in 2025 with a growth target of 8% or more; implementing well the development of education and training and some breakthrough solutions, strengthening the protection, care and improvement of people's health; preparing well the steps for military recruitment in 2026; implementing well the ethnic and religious policies...

On this occasion, the Commune Party Committee commended 7 collectives and 20 individuals with good achievements in organizing and serving the 1st Chau Thanh Commune Party Congress.

At the conference, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Chau Thanh commune launched and called on delegates to support people to overcome the damage caused by storms and floods; the total amount of donations was 12.1 million VND. Previously, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune launched an appeal to support people to overcome the damage caused by storm No. 3 with a total amount of more than 98.3 million VND.
