
The conference was organized by the Vietnam Women's Union in both direct and online formats to localities across the country.
Attending the conference were President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Bui Thi Minh Hoai; President of the Vietnam Women's Union Nguyen Thi Tuyen; and leaders of ministries, departments, branches and central agencies.
At the Lam Dong province bridge, comrade Nguyen Ngoc Phuc, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired. Also attending were representatives of the Provincial Women's Union, relevant departments, branches and units supporting women in economic development and entrepreneurship in the area.

At the Conference, delegates heard a report on the Project “Supporting Women Entrepreneurs for the 2017-2025 period”. The results showed that the project has created a clear change in the awareness and actions of all levels and sectors about the role of women in economic development; at the same time, it has strongly spread the entrepreneurial spirit in the women's community nationwide.
Many economic models, cooperatives and businesses owned by women continue to affirm their effectiveness, making positive contributions to socio-economic growth and new rural construction in localities.

After 8 years of implementation, the Project has supported more than 118,000 women in starting businesses and startups; supported the establishment of 1,666 new cooperatives and over 6,000 cooperative groups managed and operated by women; and 130,000 newly established female enterprises have received advice and support.
Entering the new period of 2026 - 2035, the Government determined to continue perfecting support mechanisms; promoting training in management skills, application of science and technology , and digital transformation in women's production and business activities.
At the same time, focus on developing high-quality female human resources, supporting women in accessing capital, markets and innovative startup ecosystems.

In Lam Dong province, in recent years, the Provincial Women's Union has actively and proactively mobilized resources to support women starting businesses. Specifically, it has established a Savings Fund to support women starting businesses with a total amount of 1.49 billion VND, supported 205 members to borrow capital; awarded 351 livelihood models worth more than 2.26 billion VND. The results of the Project implementation completed and exceeded the set targets.
Start-up support activities have aroused the spirit of innovation in women, enhanced capacity, and affirmed the role of women in socio-economic development.
Many cooperative and women-owned enterprise models operate effectively, contributing to promoting gender equality, social security and sustainable development in the locality.

At the conference, leaders of central and local ministries and branches presented papers, contributed ideas and solutions to continue supporting women in economic development and entrepreneurship nationwide.
Within the framework of the conference, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and delegates performed the button-pressing ceremony to officially launch the Project "Supporting women to start businesses in the period 2026 - 2035" (Project 2415).
This is considered an important milestone, opening a new development phase in supporting women to start businesses with a long-term vision and modern approach.

On this occasion, the Vietnam Women's Union commended 50 Cooperatives with outstanding achievements in implementing Project 01 in 2025. At the same time, it honored 61 collectives and 84 individuals with outstanding achievements in implementing Project 939.
