Parallel 17 - Desire for Peace is a special political art program organized by Nhan Dan Newspaper in coordination with Quang Tri province. The program aims to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Vinh Linh Area's Traditional Day (August 25, 1954 - August 25, 2024), review the years of division between the North and the South, and especially the occasion to recall the glorious steel accumulation period of Vinh Linh, the northern bridgehead, the direct rear of the southern front.
The program will be broadcast live on Nhan Dan Television, rebroadcast on Quang Tri Television and a number of local television stations at 8:00 p.m. on August 16.
