Donated 100 life jackets to students in Tuy An district

The provincial Red Cross Society has just organized a ceremony to present 100 life jackets to students of 4 secondary and primary schools in Tuy An district, including: Tran Ria Secondary School, Nguyen Huu Tho Primary School, An Chan commune; Nguyen Thai Binh Secondary School and Nguyen Thi Loan Primary School, An My commune.

Mr. Nguyen Trung Luong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Red Cross Society, said that this is a practical activity to support swimming teaching and drowning prevention for students during the summer. The donation of life jackets not only helps children learn to swim safely but also raises awareness among schools and parents about the importance of drowning prevention skills - one of the leading causes of death among rural children in the summer. All life jackets are sponsored by the association mobilizing businesses in Ho Chi Minh City.
