Giving Tet gifts to farmers in difficult circumstances

(TN&MT) - On January 15, the Ho Chi Minh City Farmers' Association coordinated with Ho Chi Minh City Television (HTV) to organize a program to give Tet gifts to officials and farmer members in difficult circumstances in the city.

Within the framework of the program "Tet of love - Spring At Ty 2025", Ho Chi Minh City Farmers' Association and HTV mobilized more than 8 billion VND to implement social security contents such as: giving Tet gifts, savings books, scholarships, study sponsorship, charity houses, production tools, means of livelihood for farmer members and people in difficult circumstances.

On this occasion, the City Farmers' Association presented 1,498 Tet gifts to people in the city, including 1,386 gifts to officials and farmer members in difficult circumstances.

In the program, the organizing committee presented 200 Tet gifts to farmers in difficult circumstances in Hoc Mon district and symbolic Tet gift boards to the Farmers' Association of Thu Duc City, districts and 3 wards with the following quantities: Cu Chi district 350 gifts, Binh Chanh district 237 gifts, Nha Be district 100 gifts, Can Gio district 280 gifts, Thu Duc city 138 gifts, district 12 is 56 gifts...

Speaking at the Tet gift giving ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Manh Cuong - Head of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission praised the meaningful work, promoting the tradition of great solidarity and mutual love of the nation, bringing Tet to everyone, every home. At the same time, he suggested that the City Farmers' Association and HTV continue to implement more programs together with the City Party Committee and government to take care of farmer members in difficult circumstances, contributing to improving the quality of life of the people.
