Preschoolers experience STEAM skills station
To improve the quality of preschooleducation , the Department of Education and Training of District 3, Ho Chi Minh City has implemented activities to improve the effectiveness of information technology application, exploit digital learning resources, digital libraries in organizing educational activities and applying STEAM to support the implementation of preschool education programs.
STEAM is a modern interdisciplinary educational method that aims to equip learners with knowledge and skills from 5 subjects: Science , Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics.
At Kindergarten 6, the Department of Education and Training of District 3 has deployed the "Children's Library" model with the form of reading - reading books (traditional reading) combined with digital library such as listening to books, listening to poetry, telling stories, songs, viewing pictures, videos , animations, children's art... Children will be able to choose according to their needs by simply clicking on the link to the school's digital library through technology devices.

In addition, together with Kindergarten 6, the Department of Education and Training makes the most of the space of schools with functional rooms of sufficient size and small playgrounds such as Hoa Mai Kindergarten, Tuoi Tho 7, Kindergarten 3, Kindergarten 8, implementing the STEAM skill station model to stimulate children to experience, explore, and be creative.
For example, at Kindergarten 6, children will experience, explore, and create STEAM in outdoor spaces with content and topics related to the natural environment, sun, wind; the movement of water in the sand and water play corner; learn how folding toys, ball claws, etc. work...
With a large space, District 3 Kindergarten has integrated creative practical experience skills play corners such as STEAM science, technology, engineering, art and math with a reasonable layout, convenient for children to easily change play corners, experience content, explore and learn according to personal needs.
