Deploying tasks under the Project to Celebrate the 80th Anniversary of the First General Election to elect the National Assembly of Vietnam

On the afternoon of October 23, at the headquarters of the National Assembly Office, Deputy Head of the National Assembly Office Nguyen Van Hien chaired a meeting with departments and units to deploy tasks under the Project to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the first general election to elect the Vietnamese National Assembly.

According to the report, the progress of implementing the tasks has been and is being carried out according to plan, ensuring unity, synchronization, and correct direction.

Deputy Head of the National Assembly Office Nguyen Van Hien chaired the meeting.

Up to now, 11 out of 24 tasks have been completed on schedule. Specifically, such as compiling and publishing the book "General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong with the National Assembly and the building and perfecting of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam's rule-of-law State" and successfully organizing the book launch ceremony; completing the acceptance of the special ministerial-level project "Vietnam's National Assembly: 80 years of construction, innovation and development"; organizing the acceptance and summarizing the campaign to compose songs about the National Assembly and People's Councils; successfully organizing the program "Returning to the source - Towards the future" of the National Assembly Standing Committee in Tuyen Quang province.

However, the workload in the coming time is very large, requiring high quality, especially focusing on national-scale activities such as the 80th Anniversary Celebration; National Press Awards for the National Assembly and People's Councils... Therefore, it requires determination, a sense of responsibility and closer, more effective coordination of relevant agencies and units.

According to the departments and units, currently, some key, large-scale tasks such as the 80th Anniversary of the National Assembly of Vietnam, the exhibition at the National Assembly Museum of Vietnam, the issuance of special postage stamps have a large amount of work, high requirements in terms of content, form, and technique, while the human resources are thin, so there are still difficulties. To ensure the activities are on schedule, it is necessary to speed up the bidding and budgeting process.

Concluding the meeting, Deputy Head of the Office of the National Assembly Nguyen Van Hien requested the units to coordinate closely, speed up progress, resolve outstanding problems, and ensure that events take place on time as planned.
