Implementing Resolution No. 71 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in education and training development.

On the morning of December 16th, the Provincial People's Committee held a conference to implement Resolution No. 71/NQ-TW dated August 22, 2025, of the Politburo on breakthroughs in education and training development (Resolution No. 71), along with related documents from the Central and local authorities implementing Resolution No. 71.

The conference was held in a hybrid format, combining in-person and online participation, with 126 connection points throughout the province and over 4,000 delegates in attendance. Attending the conference was Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh Luan.

At the conference, the Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, Ho Trung Viet, emphasized the core contents of Resolution No. 71. This resolution is considered the most groundbreaking resolution to date in the field of education and training; it is also one of the seven strategic resolutions of the Central Committee.

With its comprehensive and decisive perspectives, goals, tasks, and solutions, Resolution No. 71 is expected to create fundamental changes, integrating Vietnamese education into the global education landscape in the new era.

According to Resolution No. 71, by 2045, Vietnam must have a modern, equitable, and high-quality national education system, ranking among the top 20 countries in the world. All citizens will have opportunities for lifelong learning, improving their skills and maximizing their personal potential. High-quality human resources and scientific and technological talents will become the driving force and core competitive advantage of the country, contributing to making Vietnam a developed, high-income nation. The goal is to have at least 5 higher education institutions among the top 100 universities in the world in certain fields according to reputable international rankings.

At the conference, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh Luan disseminated Government Resolution No. 281 dated September 15, 2025, on "Issuing the Government's Action Program to implement Resolution No. 71"; and at the same time, expressed his hope that educational institutions would propose policies to concretize the Resolutions of the Politburo and the Government in accordance with the actual situation of the locality.
