
On November 25, in Hanoi , the National Defense Academy held a conference to review women's work and women's movements for the 2021-2025 period. Lieutenant General, Associate Professor, Dr. Ngo Trong Cuong, Deputy Director of the Academy attended the conference.
Over the past 5 years, the women's movement and women's work at the Academy have made strong developments, contributing positively to the women's movement and women's work in the Army; continuing to promote good traditions, constantly innovating the content and methods of operation; having many initiatives and proposals to gather and mobilize members to compete in studying and working. At the same time, taking care of and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of women members; participating in Party building and building solidarity.
Emulation movements continue to be thoroughly grasped and implemented creatively, appropriately, and in line with the interests and needs of cadres and members, creating a change in the women's movement. The cadres of the Association are increasingly mature, affirming their role in advising and proposing leadership, management, women's work and women's advancement to Party committees at all levels.
Female cadres and members in the entire Academy in every working position always have a strong political stance, high determination, good qualities and ethics, love and dedication to work, always humble to learn, eager to learn and progress, proactive and creative in work, strictly comply with all regulations. Participate more and more in leadership and management positions, contributing to the education - training and scientific research of the Academy.

Speaking at the conference, Vice President of the Academy Ngo Trong Cuong acknowledged and commended the achievements of the women's movement and women's work at the Academy over the past 5 years.
To successfully implement the goals, targets and tasks identified in the Report presented to the conference, comrade Ngo Trong Cuong emphasized that the Party Committee - Board of Directors of the Academy requires the Political agencies, Party committees, commanders of agencies, units and grassroots Women's Unions to regularly disseminate and strictly implement resolutions, directives of superiors and instructions of the General Department of Politics on women's work and women's movements, especially: Resolution of the 13th National Congress of the Party; Regulations on women's work in the Vietnam People's Army; Action Program of Women in the Army, of the Academy for 5 years (2025-2030); Action Plan for the Advancement of Women and Gender Equality in the Academy for the period 2025-2030.
In addition, strengthen the leadership and direction of Party committees, commanders, political commissars, and political agencies on women's work and the women's movement, and pay attention to perfecting the arrangement and training of the Association's staff in terms of both quantity and quality.
Always listen, understand thoughts and aspirations and create favorable conditions for women to contribute, develop comprehensively, promote their capacity and strengths in each field of work, complete professional tasks well, build prosperous, progressive and happy families.
“Women of the Academy continue to promote the good qualities of Vietnamese women and women in the Army, having strong political will, good moral qualities, good health; striving to study to improve professional qualifications; being proactive, creative, implementing movements and campaigns well, especially the movement “Women in the Army with intelligence and courage, completing tasks well, building happy families”, the Deputy Director of the Academy emphasized.
Comrade Ngo Trong Cuong noted that Party committees and commanders at all levels identified women's work as an important task that requires attention and leadership. Research and arrange work suitable to the expertise and profession in the conditions of the unit so that female members can further promote the role and capabilities of female soldiers in the Academy.
