Photo exhibition of 80 years of Vietnam National Assembly

The exhibition takes place at 3 locations: Nguyen Hue Walking Street, Dong Khoi Street (in front of the Department of Culture and Sports and opposite Chi Lang Park), from August 7 to August 17.

At Nguyen Hue walking street and Dong Khoi street (in front of the Department of Culture and Sports), the Organizing Committee displayed more than 100 documentary images with the theme "Glory of 80 years of the Vietnamese National Assembly " summarizing the glorious history of the Vietnamese National Assembly throughout the 80 years of attachment and companionship with the nation in the struggle for independence, freedom, and national reunification as well as in the cause of building, developing and defending the Fatherland.

January 6, 1946 will always be a brilliant milestone in the history of our country, marking a leap forward in the development of democratic institutions, opening a new period of development for our country. Since the first General Election, the National Assembly has continuously matured through each term, innovating its activities in line with the general development trend, actively contributing to the cause of building, protecting and developing the country.

The exhibition also honors and pays tribute to the great contributions and achievements of generations of delegates who have always demonstrated and promoted their sense of responsibility, qualities, and intelligence, worthy of representing the will and aspirations of the people, those who have always devoted themselves and sacrificed for the revolutionary cause, joining hands and hearts to build and develop the country to become more and more prosperous and happy.

On Dong Khoi Street (opposite Chi Lang Park), the organizers also displayed 50 photos with the theme " Ho Chi Minh City National Assembly Delegation - Imprints of the 2021-2026 term".

The exhibition introduces the achievements of the Ho Chi Minh City National Assembly Delegation during the past term with a high sense of responsibility, constantly innovating working methods in supervising the implementation of laws in the locality.

Accordingly, the works show the following contents: Deploying digital government and reforming administrative procedures; performing the task of meeting voters, promptly resolving petitions, ensuring the legitimate rights and interests of the people; monitoring and surveying based on the contents that voters and people are interested in, concerned about, and the contents that need to be resolved in terms of mechanisms, legal policies, etc., contributing to the economic-cultural-social development of the country and of Ho Chi Minh City.
