(HNMO) - Today, May 30, the world's largest information technology exhibition Computex opened at the Nangang Taipei Exhibition Center in Taiwan (China).
After a 3-year hiatus due to the Covid-19 pandemic, this year's event brings together more than 1,000 manufacturers from 26 different countries/regions with 3,000 booths. In 2023, the exhibition focuses on generational technological innovation and hot issues in the industry, emphasizing 6 main themes, with a special focus on artificial intelligence applications, high-performance computing, next-generation connectivity, hyper-reality, innovations and startups, and sustainability.
James Huang, Chairman of the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), co-organizer of Computex 2023, said that the power of high-performance computing has driven the explosion of AI and the AI wave is affecting every corner of life; emphasizing that the focus of future technology is how to effectively use AI achievements in a smart and safe way.
Notably, within the framework of Computex, the AI giant NVIDIA caused a big surprise when it brought to this year's exhibition the AI Avatar Cloud Engine (ACE) mechanism - a technology that allows users to create games, characters, and storylines according to their personal preferences using AI.
designed to accelerate AI work in the cloud.
Also within the framework of the exhibition, speakers discussed key technology topics such as virtual world, semiconductors and sustainable development. The list of speakers included senior managers and expert representatives from the world's leading technology enterprises to learn about next-generation technology trends.
The exhibition will also feature a variety of activities such as guided tours, live broadcasts... and demonstrations from startups, startup investment forums, auction meetings and many more.
Notably, in the context of the world's goal of reducing carbon emissions, this year, Computex has many exhibition booths that have achieved international sustainability certification, marked with the ESG GO! banner - representing the image of a green supply chain. TAITRA also cooperated with Acer to launch the Earth Mission app, a 21-day lifestyle app that invites all exhibitors to establish energy-saving habits and reduce their personal carbon footprint through the app.
Based on the number of people who download the app during the show, a non-profit organization called One Tree Planted will plant trees in the Amazon rainforest. The organization continues to work with all Computex partners to create a greener and cleaner sustainable future.
