Exhibition "Quang Ngai Tourism - Attraction from heritage and identity"

On the afternoon of April 12, at the Hoang Sa Fleet Exhibition House, which is also in charge of Bac Hai, Ly Son island district, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Ngai province organized a thematic exhibition "Quang Ngai Tourism - Attraction from heritage and identity".

The exhibition introduces more than 300 documents and images of famous landscapes and typical tangible and intangible cultural heritages, reflecting the cultural identity of Quang Ngai; along with a system of historical and legal documents affirming Vietnam's sovereignty over the Hoang Sa archipelago.

Thematic exhibition "Quang Ngai Tourism - Attraction from heritage and identity" starts on April 12 and ends on April 15.

This event is part of the Quang Ngai Tourism Week 2025, aiming to systematically, scientifically and visually introduce the system of cultural and natural heritages imbued with local identity, important resources contributing to the province's tourism attraction.

On this occasion, Ly Son island district will organize the Hoang Sa soldier memorial ceremony, an important historical and cultural event, expressing gratitude to the previous generation, honoring the patriotism and will to protect the sovereignty of the sea and islands of the nation.

Quang Ngai is famous for its pottery making in Sa Huynh.

Ly Son island district is also the birthplace of Hoang Sa Team, which manages Bac Hai, where the Hoang Sa Soldiers' Commemoration Ceremony takes place - a national intangible cultural heritage, a vivid testament to the patriotism, indomitable will and noble sacrifice of Quang Ngai people in the journey to protect the sacred sovereignty of the nation's sea and islands.

By 2030, Quang Ngai province will focus on turning Ly Son into a national sea and island tourism center, while connecting Sa Huynh tourism routes and effectively exploiting the value of Sa Huynh cultural heritage associated with tourism, contributing to promoting sustainable development.

Hoang Sa Exhibition House of Da Nang City presented the document set "Hoang Sa archipelago belongs to Vietnam's territory" to Quang Ngai General Museum.

On this occasion, the leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Ngai province presented a Certificate of Merit to the Hoang Sa Exhibition House (Da Nang City) for their active contributions in organizing the exhibition of valuable documents on the sacred sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland. In particular, the Hoang Sa Exhibition House of Da Nang City also presented a set of documents on the sovereignty of the sea and islands to the Quang Ngai Provincial Museum.
