To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Southern Vietnam and the reunification of the country, and the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the Thanh Ha Terracotta Museum Park, the Thanh Ha Terracotta Museum, in collaboration with artists, painters, and sculptors from the Ho Chi Minh City Fine Arts Association, is organizing a ceramics exhibition with the theme "The Journey of the Earth".

Ten years is enough time for each artist to undertake a profound journey of experience in life and art. And now, like a homecoming, the journey of the earth marks their reunion with terracotta – a material that is rough, fierce, yet also full of affection.

The direct contact between hands and clay, the inner impulses, and the free surrender within each block of earth have created works that reflect endless creativity.

Clay captivated 12 artists, who worked tirelessly for 10 days to create 30 works. Each piece reflects a unique perspective, but all are brimming with the vibrant energy of clay sketches, captivating viewers with their metaphorical beauty.

Like the painter Lam Thanh, who returned to his village after ten years, he still retains a subtle charm in his own world of expression. His works compel viewers to quietly search and contemplate, because the enigmatic nature of the form always goes hand in hand with the authenticity of the spirit.

The journey of the earth is the companionship of people on the "earthenware ship," who have shared the struggles, joys, and sorrows of the earth, and above all, loved the earth in the most complete way.

This exhibition is not only the culmination of artistic labor, but also a testament to unwavering love, faith, and loyalty to the original material of earthenware.

"Thanh Ha Terracotta Museum Park" is not only home to some of the most beautiful architecture in Vietnam, but has also become a creative space for artists, painters, and sculptors from both within and outside the country. It is also a favorite place for children to explore .
