This exhibition displays 40 works by Professor Tsuchiya Kuniyoshi from Ikenobo School, Japan, and teachers and students of Ikenobo Vietnam Headquarters.
Works with Ikebana Ikenobo's characteristic arrangements such as Rikka, Shoka and Jiyuka have many different nuances, expressing traditional and modern beauty.
According to the Organizing Committee, the Ikebana “Beginner’s” exhibition will be a place to meet the cultural beauty between the two countries of Japan and Vietnam, connecting souls with the same aesthetic sense and the vibrations evoked by the art of Ikebana.
Ikebana, one of Japan’s traditional arts, has been around for over 600 years. Also known as kado (the way of flowers), Ikebana was not originally created with the simple goal of arranging flowers beautifully, but rather to show respect for nature, evoking the beautiful qualities of flowers and emotions through the rules of arrangement.
Today, the art of Ikebana is still loved and has gone beyond the borders of Japan to many countries and territories around the world . Ikebana not only appears in solemn and luxurious spaces but it can also appear in living spaces. This flower arrangement art is considered a way to decorate the house, a hobby or a meditation therapy in every family.
