Vietwater 2025 Exhibition: Promoting cooperation and innovation in Vietnam's water industry

On October 22, Informa Markets Vietnam coordinated with ministries, associations, institutes/schools at home and abroad to organize the opening of the Vietwater 2025 International Exhibition - the largest annual event of the Vietnamese water industry, at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC), Ho Chi Minh City.

Vietwater 2025 International Exhibition brings together more than 400 domestic and international enterprises from 45 countries and territories, introducing advanced technology, equipment and solutions in water supply and drainage, water filtration technology, wastewater treatment, sustainable urban environment...

The highlight of the Vietwater International Exhibition 2025 is the international exhibition area with the participation of many international booths from Germany, Switzerland, Japan, Singapore, China, etc.

This year’s exhibition also incorporates a number of thematic exhibitions including WETV Waste Expo on recycling technology, waste treatment and the environment; Flood Control & Disaster Management Vietnam on flood control and disaster prevention technology, providing a comprehensive perspective on the water and environment industry. At the same time, with a variety of experiential activities, the exhibition promotes knowledge exchange, expands partnerships and updates the latest industry trends.

According to Mr. Ben Wong, General Director of Informa Markets Vietnam, along with the exhibition activities, the Vietwater 2025 International Exhibition will also organize a series of seminars and specialized events, spanning three days (from now until October 24). These include the seminar on "Sustainable Water Management in the New Era"; the Vietwater 2025 Technical Seminar; the seminar on "Circular Economy in the Water Industry"; the Business Matching program (B2B Matching)...

At the opening ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Hong Hieu - Deputy Director of the Department of Water Resources Management, Ministry of Agriculture and Environment said that within the exhibition, there will also be an International Conference with the theme: "Sustainable Water Management in the New Era" organized by the Southeast Asia Institute of Water Resources and Environment in collaboration with Informa Markets Vietnam.

This conference will be a platform to connect values, exchange knowledge and discuss current trends and challenges in the water industry; especially in the context of climate change and water security in Vietnam and ASEAN countries.

Statistics over the past 10 years show that the Vietnamese clean water market has recorded many bright spots, such as the amount of commercial clean water growing at an average of 6.3% per year.

The market is forecast to continue growing by 5-7% annually until 2030, driven by growing demand from households, industry and commerce.

In addition, the clean water industry needs about VND38 trillion (equivalent to USD1.6 billion) in investment capital by 2030, mobilized from both the public and private sectors, and green financial instruments are considered a sustainable solution to meet long-term capital needs./.
