Ms. Bui Thi Ngoc Hieu, Deputy Director of Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism, shared information about a series of culinary tourism products on the morning of October 22.

According to the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism , in the context of the City expanding its administrative boundaries, the potential for culinary tourism development is increasingly large, helping the City become a center of convergence of domestic and international culinary quintessence. From the advantage of being a vibrant, multicultural city, Ho Chi Minh City is making efforts to build new tourism products such as waterway tourism, culture - history, ecology, community tourism, etc. In which, culinary tourism is considered a strategic product, with high attraction and competitiveness in the region.

A series of culinary tourism programs designed by travel agencies this time are mostly based on the system of food services, shopping and typical attractions of the new city after the merger. The experiential tours have flexible durations from half a day to three days, combining Ho Chi Minh City street food with Binh Duong garden cuisine and fresh seafood from Vung Tau. Some outstanding products include Vespa culinary tours, cacao garden and chocolate making process tours, or the program "Cooking with the chef" right in the center of Ho Chi Minh City.
