Notably, many mechanical and electrical supporting industrial products serving the urban railway industry were displayed, demonstrating the city's orientation towards sustainable and modern industrial development.
With the message “Connection – Cooperation – Development”, the program is organized according to the 4.0 technology orientation, creating a modern, intuitive experience space. The exhibition area is designed with LED screens displaying new products, along with conference activities, seminars on “Mechanical and electrical support industry for urban railways” and direct business connection sessions between domestic and foreign enterprises.

Ms. Ho Thi Quyen, Deputy Director of ITPC, said that Ho Chi Minh City is always proactive in international economic integration, promoting digital transformation and developing green economy and circular economy.
“For the mechanical - machinery and equipment industry, the City is implementing many solutions to remove difficulties for businesses, while promoting the transformation of green - smart production models, associated with the application of digital technology and green export standards,” said Ms. Quyen.
According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Vietnam currently has about 3,100 mechanical engineering enterprises with 53,000 production facilities, accounting for nearly 30% of the total number of processing and manufacturing enterprises. From January to August 2025, the export turnover of machinery, equipment, tools and spare parts reached 37.4 billion USD (up 13.8%), while the group of electronic products and components reached 67 billion USD (up 43% over the same period in 2024).
However, Vietnam's mechanical industry can only meet about 30% of equipment needs in the fields of energy, heavy industry, thermal power and renewable energy.

This is the third consecutive year that ITPC has coordinated with the Ho Chi Minh City Association of Mechanical and Electrical Enterprises (HAMEE) to organize the event, affirming the effectiveness of the specialized trade promotion model initiated by Ho Chi Minh City.
