Police in District 1 (Ho Chi Minh City) have dismantled a drug trafficking and storage ring in alley 263, Nguyen Trai Street, also known as Ma Lang area (Nguyen Cu Trinh ward), led by "drug queen" Trinh Thi Hoa and her two sons.

On June 24th, the District 1 Police (Ho Chi Minh City) initiated a criminal case, indicted and temporarily detained Trinh Thi Hoa (born in 1969), Trinh Ba Hao (born in 1989), and Trinh Ba Hoa (born in 1991, both sons of Hoa, residing in District 1) on charges of "illegally trading narcotics".

In addition, the police also prosecuted and detained Nguyen Huu Thanh Cong (born in 1990), Nguyen Van Minh (born in 1993), Vuong Trong Quoc (born in 1989), Nguyen Van Thanh (born in 1979), Doan Thanh Lam (born in 1994), Nguyen Phong Vuong (born in 1995), Mus Sa Fa (born in 1998), Nguyen Minh Truong (born in 1992), Diep Le Chi Khang (born in 1992), and Dinh Nhi Ko Lai (born in 1995, all residing in Ho Chi Minh City) on charges of "illegally possessing narcotics".

Previously, through investigative work, the District 1 Police discovered a drug trafficking hotspot in District 1 and began monitoring it. Through this, investigators found that many individuals from other localities frequently appeared in the Ma Lang area (Nguyen Cu Trinh ward).

The individuals typically appeared late at night or early in the morning. Investigators determined that these were drug addicts who had purchased drugs in the Ma Lang area for personal use.

On the evening of June 13th, multiple surveillance teams ambushed and arrested Cong, Minh, and eight others. During the search, police discovered that each suspect was concealing one to two packets of drugs. Rapid drug tests showed that the entire group tested positive for narcotics.

During questioning, the group admitted to being heavily addicted to drugs. Recently, they learned that a "drug queen" and her two sons were selling drugs in this alley, so they went there to buy them. Through investigation, the police identified the "drug queen" as Hoa and her two sons.

At approximately 2:40 AM on June 14th, police spotted Hoa standing in a house in alley 263 Nguyen Trai and apprehended him. At that time, Hoa was carrying 750,000 VND and a leather wallet. Upon checking the wallet, police found 13 packets of drugs, and another 10 packets of drugs in his pants pocket.

At the police station, Hoa admitted to drug trafficking and acknowledged the assistance of her two sons, Hao and Hoa. Hoa's two sons are currently staying at another house in alley 263 Nguyen Trai.

Police raided the homes of Hoa's two sons, seizing two packages of drugs from the toilet bowl. At Hoa's own house, police found two packages of drugs on the altar shelf and another package of drugs on top of a plastic cabinet, along with other related evidence.

"The 'drug queen' Hoa confessed that she met a stranger through a mutual acquaintance. Because she was unemployed and needed money to pay off debts, Hoa came up with the idea of buying drugs from this young man to resell for profit."

Hoa contacted drug dealers multiple times to buy drugs, brought them home, divided them into small packages, and sold them to addicts for 250,000 VND per package. Hoa's two children, seeing that their mother was "not well," helped her sell the drugs.
