On the afternoon of December 9, at the Ba Kieu Temple Flower Garden, Hoan Kiem walking street (Hanoi), the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism coordinated with the People's Committees of districts and cities to organize a performance of traditional costumes and folk art of Cao Bang.
The performance of ethnic costumes: Tay, Nung, Mong, Dao, Lo Lo, San Chi was performed by extras from 10 districts and cities. The unique ethnic costumes on brocade and indigo fabric with unique motifs and patterns... demonstrated the intelligence, creativity, and aesthetics of the visual and decorative arts, while still having traditional beauty, harmoniously combining ethnicity and modernity, creating a rich and diverse cultural space and spiritual life for ethnic people.
Along with that, 11 unique folk art performances, elaborately staged, imbued with the culture of the ethnic groups of Cao Bang province, were performed interspersed in the program. When coming to Cao Bang, visitors are immersed in the rustic, sweet, and humane folk songs of the people such as: Sli, Luon, Hat Then, Dan Tinh..., each song and dance bears the mark of the borderland, hospitable and rich in cultural identity.
Performance of ethnic costumes and folk art of Cao Bang introduced to tourists the beauty of traditional costumes of ethnic communities living in the area. This is an opportunity to introduce and promote the values of traditional costumes and culture to domestic and international friends, contributing to tourism development; arousing aspirations and national pride, at the same time, preserving and promoting traditional culture, in order to strengthen solidarity and cohesion among ethnic groups.
