(BDO) At the recent conference "Promoting digital transformation models for enterprises in the Industry and Trade sector in 2024", enterprises and associations listened to experts on digital transformation, learned about the smart factory model and discussed the challenges and opportunities that enterprises in Binh Duong province are facing.

Experts have proposed many solutions to develop smart factory models, such as: strongly spreading smart factory models to small and medium enterprises; organizing exhibitions, surveys, sharing successful lessons of smart factories; building standards and certifying smart factories; investing heavily in research and development of smart factory models; strengthening training and coaching on smart factories, especially at universities...
At the conference, Dr. Ha Lam Oanh, Thu Dau Mot University, introduced the criteria for assessing the level of smart production - smart factory of the Government - International Finance Organization; and affirmed: Industry 4.0 allows factories and manufacturing enterprises to apply the most advanced technologies to improve productivity and create more profits. To solve the above problems, there are indicators and a set of solutions for smart factory production management that help enterprises easily access and implement.

This solution will apply lean production, automate operation monitoring, help enterprises in the textile and footwear industry reduce costs, improve labor productivity...
Experts emphasize that the most important thing is to find a solution that is suitable for practical conditions and orientation, not to mechanically apply the original model.
