In the first 6 months of the year, the Red Cross Associations at all levels in the province have implemented and achieved many results in the movements "Humanitarian Tet", eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses, voluntary blood donation, Humanitarian Month..., with a total value of activities reaching more than 38.9 billion VND, helping 89,935 beneficiaries.
The conference focused on discussing tasks for the last 6 months of the year, especially implementing the policy on administrative unit arrangement and streamlining the organization. Accordingly, focusing on completing procedures to end association activities at the district level; financial work, assets, documents... according to regulations. Focusing on advising, perfecting, organizing the apparatus, and personnel work of associations at all levels to ensure operational efficiency.
Regarding the association's work and the Red Cross movement, in the last 6 months of the year, all levels of the association will prepare resources, means and participate in preventing and responding to natural disasters.
Carry out well the propaganda and mobilization work for voluntary blood donation, especially consulting, perfecting and consolidating the Steering Committee for voluntary blood donation in new communes and wards...
At the conference, the Provincial Red Cross Society awarded Certificates of Merit to 15 collectives and individuals for their outstanding achievements in the activities of Tet Charity, Humanitarian Month and the campaign "Millions of Compassionate Steps - Continuing the Golden History".
