Referee Ngo Duy Lan and assistants Nguyen Trung Hau and Pham Hoai Tam officiated the match in the group stage of the 2023-2024 AFC Cup between Odisha Club (India) and Bashundhara Kings (Bangladesh).

In the second half, Bashundhara Club lost the match with only 10 players left on the field. In 2023, referee Ngo Duy Lan was appointed to officiate at the 2026 World Cup qualifiers and ASIAD 19, in addition to the AFC Cup.
