Special exhibition "Journey following Uncle Ho's footsteps through stamp and postcard collections"

On the occasion of the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025) and International Museum Day (May 18, 2025), Ho Chi Minh City Museum organizes a thematic exhibition "Journey in Uncle Ho's footsteps through stamp and postcard collections", taking place from now until June 18.

Exhibition visitors

The exhibition features 225 images, stamps and postcards, divided into three sections.

Part 1 - Portrait of President Ho Chi Minh through the ages: Introducing the period from his childhood to the last years of his life. Including a collection of stamps commemorating President Ho Chi Minh's birthday over the years, especially the stamp issued on May 19, 1960, on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of his birth.

Part 2 - Journey following Uncle Ho's footsteps: Overview of his homeland, family, journey to find a way to save the country and his career of founding the Party and leading the Vietnamese revolution in two resistance wars against French colonialism and American imperialism.

Part 3 - Uncle Ho in the hearts of the Vietnamese people and international friends: Displaying images of Uncle Ho closely associated with the people, especially the people of the South, with children, the people's police force... Besides, there are images of Uncle Ho introduced through stamps of some countries in the world such as Laos, Cambodia, Russia, Germany...
