The Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City has just issued a decision on enrollment for grade 6 at Tran Dai Nghia Secondary and High School. Accordingly, the quota for grade 6 at Tran Dai Nghia Secondary and High School is 350 students, equivalent to 10 classes.

The admission target is students who have completed primary school in Ho Chi Minh City, with a score of 9 or higher in the final exam of Vietnamese and Math in grade 5.

Students will take the aptitude test on June 16th, which will last 90 minutes and consist of 2 parts. The multiple choice part consists of 20 multiple choice questions (to be completed in 30 minutes).

The essay section (done in 60 minutes) consists of 3 parts: English proficiency test (listening, reading, writing): Students do the test in English; Math and logical thinking ability test: Students do the test in Vietnamese; Reading and writing ability test: Students do the test in Vietnamese.

Parents can access and register their children to participate in the 6th grade entrance exam at Tran Dai Nghia Secondary and High School on the school website. After filling in all the registration information, the system will send the survey registration form to the registered email address of the parents. Parents can download the form, print it, sign it and attach a photo of the student (3x4 photo, wearing school uniform) to bring with them when receiving the survey participation card at the school.

Tran Dai Nghia Secondary and High School, formerly Tran Dai Nghia Specialized High School, is the first school in Ho Chi Minh City to enroll 6th graders through a test because the number of applicants is too large, all students are excellent or above.
