Tien Giang Provincial Political School has achieved Level 1 standard.

NDO - On the morning of December 18th, the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, in coordination with the Tien Giang Provincial Party Committee, held a ceremony to receive the Tien Giang Provincial Political School's certification as Level 1 standard according to Regulation No. 11-QĐ/TW of the Central Party Secretariat.

Attending the event were Comrade Nguyen Xuan Thang, Member of the Political Bureau, Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Political Academy, and Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council; and Comrade Nguyen Van Danh, Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Tien Giang province.

Speaking at the ceremony, Comrade Nguyen Xuan Thang emphasized: In implementing Regulation No. 11 of the Party Central Committee, with a scientific , systematic, innovative, and focused approach, the Tien Giang Provincial Political School has been recognized as achieving Level 1 standards. This is the basis for building a model Party school in the locality, and a solid foundation for rapid and sustainable development.

On behalf of the Party, State leaders and the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Comrade Nguyen Xuan Thang acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts and determination of the Board of Directors, the entire staff, lecturers and students of the school; the close and effective attention, leadership and guidance of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial People's Committee and the coordination and assistance of departments, agencies and localities in Tien Giang province.

To maintain and uphold the Tien Giang Provincial Political School's Level 1 standard and to build it to Level 2 standard, Comrade Nguyen Xuan Thang requested the Standing Committee of the Tien Giang Provincial Party Committee to continue leading and directing the school to improve the quality of cadre training and development; to truly prioritize the education, training, and enhancement of revolutionary ethics, political acumen, ideological stance, and leadership and management skills for cadres; and to build a team of cadres capable of fulfilling their tasks, with the spirit of "Daring to think, daring to speak, daring to act, daring to take responsibility, daring to innovate and create; daring to confront difficulties and challenges, and daring to act for the common good."

The Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee continues to pay attention to and trust the Tien Giang Provincial Political School with provincial-level scientific tasks, especially assigning the school to lead and coordinate with departments, agencies, and localities to advise, research, and summarize practical experiences on strategic issues such as the implementation of Resolution No. 13-NQ/TW of the Politburo on the direction of socio-economic development and ensuring national defense and security in the Mekong Delta region until 2030, with a vision to 2045.

The Tien Giang Provincial Party Committee directed the Tien Giang Provincial Political School and relevant departments and agencies to review the criteria for Level 2 standards, clearly identify the criteria that have been met and those that have not; and adjust the objectives and roadmap of the project to continue building the Tien Giang Provincial Political School into one of the leading schools in the Mekong Delta region and the whole country in achieving Level 2 standards.

Furthermore, Comrade Nguyen Xuan Thang also suggested that the Tien Giang Provincial Political School should strive to become a model for Party building work, a model for maintaining discipline and order; a cradle for cultivating Party character and culture, preserving and spreading the positive values ​​of Party school culture to other political schools and training institutions nationwide. To achieve this, the school needs to focus on continuously improving the quality of training, education, scientific research, and practical experience summation; and there must be more research topics and projects transferred and applied in practice.

Comrade Nguyen Van Danh presented flowers to congratulate the Tien Giang Provincial Political School on achieving Level 1 standards.

Speaking at the ceremony, Comrade Nguyen Van Danh requested that the Tien Giang Provincial Political School define its vision, viewpoints, goals, and development orientations to further innovate the training and fostering of cadres, especially the training of leading and managerial cadres at all levels of the province, to be commensurate with the tasks and loyal to the revolutionary ideals; to protect the ideological foundation of the Party, actively combat and refute erroneous views and distorted arguments of hostile forces; to thoroughly overcome the reluctance to study, laziness in studying political theory, studying only to "cope," to "receive degrees, certificates, and certifications"; and to have breakthrough solutions to improve the quality of the research staff, ensuring they have high professional qualifications, firm political acumen, creative capacity, prestige, and practical experience.

According to Dr. Le Van Ty, Principal of the Tien Giang Provincial Political School, on May 15, 2023, the Standing Committee of the Tien Giang Provincial Party Committee issued Decision No. 761 approving the Project "Building the Tien Giang Provincial Political School to Meet Standards," with the goal of developing the Political School comprehensively and synchronously, aiming to achieve Level 1 standard by 2025 and Level 2 standard by 2030. To date, the school has completed 6 criteria according to Regulation No. 11 of the Party Central Committee: institutions and regulations; staff and officials; training and professional development; scientific research and practical experience summation; building a Party school culture, implementing discipline and order; facilities, technical equipment and finance.
