According to the 2025 regular university enrollment information just announced by Ho Chi Minh City University of Architecture, the school enrolls students nationwide, considering all candidates who graduated from high school or equivalent at 3 training facilities (Ho Chi Minh City, Can Tho and Da Lat).

Reduce 1 admission method

In the 2025 regular university entrance exam, Ho Chi Minh City University of Architecture applies 4 admission methods.

Method 1 - Direct admission according to the admission regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training .

Method 2 - Admission based on the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam.

Method 3 - Admission for high school graduates from high schools that train specialized and gifted students nationwide.

Method 4 - Admission based on the results of the 2025 competency assessment exam at Ho Chi Minh City National University.

Thus, compared to last year, the school has cut one admission method, which is the admission method for candidates who won prizes in excellent student competitions at all levels (from provincial/central city level and above). Candidates in this category will only receive priority points from the school.

The school notes: the necessary condition for method 3 is that candidates must graduate from high school in the regular form in 2025.

For the remaining admission methods , the required condition is that candidates graduate from high school or equivalent.

Except for majors that enroll according to the groups A, C, D (3 majors: construction engineering, infrastructure engineering, construction management), the remaining majors will be recruited according to the above admission methods combined with the results of the supplementary exam of aptitude subjects organized by Ho Chi Minh City University of Architecture in 2025.

Candidates graduating from high school in 2025 who win excellent student awards from provincial/central city level or higher will receive bonus points.

The urban design major (advanced program, taught in English, corresponding tuition) has an English proficiency requirement for entry.

Bonus points for candidates with IELTS, SAT certificates or excellent student awards

The school has also announced its priority admission policy. Accordingly, candidates will receive priority points if they meet the regional and target priority conditions according to the admission regulations of the Ministryof Education and Training.

In addition, candidates who have international certificates including international language certificates (English) equivalent to IELTS from 6.0 or higher or SAT certificate from 1,000 or higher and still valid until the time of application;

Have a certificate of winning an excellent student award from the provincial/municipal level or higher, not including excellent student awards in solving math problems on handheld calculators and April Olympic awards. The subject won must be in the admission group or suitable for the registered major.
