Recently, some provinces and cities have implemented allowing high school students to take Saturday off such as: Lao Cai, Lai Chau, Khanh Hoa, Ha Tinh ...

In Hai Duong , Marie Curie Secondary and High School (Hai Duong City) is the first school to let students have Saturdays off.

Accordingly, from the beginning of November, Marie Curie Secondary and High School will start allowing students to have Saturdays off every week.

Students in grades 6, 7, 8, 10 and 11 study from Monday to Friday and have Saturday off. Grades 9 and 12 continue to study as normal due to the need to intensify final exam preparation.

To change the study time for students, Marie Curie Secondary and High School has arranged the timetable to ensure the educational program according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.

Specifically, the school increased the regular school hours by one afternoon for students in grades that have Saturday off.

Giving students Saturdays off is to reduce academic pressure as well as increase rest time for students and teachers.
