The school was established in 1972 in the rice fields of Vinh Tuong, Vinh Phuc province. The school looks very exemplary with old yellow houses, ancient rosewood trees, and narrow classrooms built in 1997. When it rains many days, the classrooms leak. The walls are peeling and need to be patched regularly. The road to the school is narrow and was only paved last year.

Overcoming difficulties in facilities, the school has continuously made breakthroughs, starting from the 2021-2022 school year, with the achievement of ranking first in the province in the non-specialized block in the high school graduation exam. The 12th grade graduation rate reached 100%, the average score of the exam subjects was 7.72. All exam subjects were in the top 10 schools with the highest average scores.

In the 2022-2023 school year, the school will maintain its number 1 position in the non-specialized high school sector. The average score on the high school graduation exam is 7.83 points; the whole school has 43 scores of 10 and 622 scores of 9 or higher.

In the 2023-2024 school year, the school continues to maintain its number 1 position in the province. This is also the second consecutive year that Vinh Phuc province ranks first in the country in terms of average national high school graduation exam scores.

The total average score of all graduation exam subjects was 8.14 points. Of which, the highest average score was Civic Education with 9.35 points; followed by Literature with 8.92 points; Geography with 8.91 points; History with 8.49 points; Chemistry with 8.42 points; Math, Physics, and Biology all had high scores.

Last school year, the school also reaped a lot of awards. The provincial cultural subject competitions won 198 prizes, an increase of 42 prizes compared to the previous school year, including 9 first prizes, 68 second prizes, 65 third prizes, and 56 consolation prizes. The school's students won many prizes in other competitions such as the Science and Technology Innovation Competition, the provincial and national English Olympiad, and the World Office Informatics Championship. At the provincial Phu Dong Sports Festival, the school ranked first with 26 medals of all kinds.

Many teachers were awarded for their outstanding contributions.

This shows that Nguyen Viet Xuan High School is truly a creative, comprehensive educational environment that promotes the qualities and abilities of students. From the movement of good teaching, good learning, and good training, many young teachers and dozens of students of the school were admitted to the Party.

The person who strongly inspired the emulation movement was teacher Pham Thi Hoa, the school's principal, a teacher who is very passionate about her job, loves her students and has a lot of experience in educational management. Ms. Hoa is a Literature teacher with a strong style. Contrary to her appearance, Ms. Hoa is very delicate in management, loves her colleagues very much and is tolerant with her students.

According to Ms. Pham Thi Hoa, to achieve this result, teachers have to work on holidays and weekends, regardless of difficulties and hardships. The school is poor, the parents are also poor, but the "fiery" working spirit of the teachers becomes an extremely great source of strength. Students follow the example of their teachers, determined to study very highly. The wholeheartedness of teachers and students of the school also spreads to parents and later generations of students, becoming the motivation and aspiration that urges everyone to move forward.

Regarding teaching experience, Ms. Pham Thi Hoa said that the school always researches and innovates teaching methods, differentiates teaching according to students' abilities. Teachers strengthen training for weak students, improve specialized knowledge for good students. Teachers spare no time and effort to tutor and provide free training for weak students, even on holidays, both directly and indirectly such as through social networks... The rising learning movement creates a competitive atmosphere between classes, grades, the next class is not inferior to the previous one.

At Nguyen Viet Xuan High School, after school hours, students still stay in class to study together, especially 12th graders. It has become a tradition that during exam season, the school turns on the lights and air conditioning so that students can study by themselves until evening.

Geography teacher Truong Thi Dung said that there are good students who volunteer to tutor weaker students in the class. Many groups of students stay after school and study until the evening, often after 6 pm. There were days when students were still engrossed in studying in groups at 8 pm, and the school security had to remind them to go home and close the door.

The teachers are all exemplary, strict and selfless workers. The teachers' love and responsibility in the school have motivated the students to excel in their studies. Pitying the students' hard work in studying for exams, the teachers also cook sweet soup and buy candy to encourage them. The relationship between teachers and students is therefore always warm and affectionate.

Students of Nguyen Viet Xuan High School are very proud of their school.

Every time there is a reunion, former students come back to the classroom to reminisce and meet their old teachers. The previous generation passes on the passion for learning to the next generation, creating a very unique culture for this school.

At the closing ceremony of the 2023-2024 school year, many parents and students were very emotional when the Principal recalled the hard days of companionship, the passionate lessons, the tears of joy and happiness, and the achievements that will follow the students forever into the future.

Although Nguyen Viet Xuan High School has been awarded medals, certificates of merit, and certificates of merit, the greatest reward for teachers is the glorious tradition, the school's reputation is enhanced, the honor of teachers is protected, and parents trust and entrust their children to study.
